Building Pathways to Meaningful Employment

Finding meaningful employment in a new city, a new country, or at a new stage of life can be challenging. At the Afro-Caribbean Food Bank and Community Center (ACFBCC), we believe that everyone deserves the opportunity to achieve economic independence and build a successful future.

Our Pathways to Employment Program is designed to support Afro-Caribbean, Black, Indigenous, newcomer, immigrant, refugee, and other equity-deserving community members as they navigate the Canadian labor market.

Guided by Africentric social work practice and the philosophy of Ubuntu – “I am because we are,” we provide personalized employment support that empowers participants to build sustainable careers, strengthen their confidence, and achieve long-term success.
