The Afro-Caribbean Food Bank is proud to invite you to our Black History Month celebration, Flavors of Legacy: Bridging Generations Through Black History and Culinary Traditions. This special event will celebrate intergenerational storytelling, mentorship, and leadership within the Black community while showcasing the rich culinary heritage of Afro-Caribbean culture
We would be honored by your presence as we reflect on the legacy and contributions of Black Canadians and engage in meaningful conversations about preserving and continuing this legacy
About the Event: This year’s theme highlights the power of storytelling and cultural traditions to connect generations and preserve our shared history. The event will feature:
Intergenerational Storytelling: Inspirational narratives from community leaders, elders, and youth reflecting on their journeys and experiences.
Mentorship and Leadership Panels: Discussions on fostering mentorship and leadership within Black communities to continue the legacy of resilience and achievement.
Culinary Traditions: A showcase of Afro-Caribbean cuisine, celebrating the rich culinary heritage passed down through generations.
